This is not an English Language course. Maybe not very deepest English lesson either.
But this blog is expecting to be a helping hand whoever wants to study the English Language in an easy manner.
Therefore this blog will present you some important factors in the English Language from time to time.
Anybody in the world who read this can have an assistance from these notes.
am/ is / are - These are verbs. (But does not match with the usual definition of 'verb'.)
HOW DO YOU USE THESE VERBS?
It is very easy.
A) am - You have to add, 'I' before 'am'. ------> I am - This is the only way of using 'am' in the English Language.
If a person talks about himself or herself that person only can be used 'I am' because this term only belongs to him or her.
I am a man. I am a woman.
I am a boy. I am a girl.
OR you can introduce yourself using 'I am'.
I am a teacher.
I am a doctor.
I am a farmer.
I am a carpenter.
"I am" belongs to First Person. Why? It helps to talk about you.
'I'm' is an abbreviation for the word 'I am".
Both give the same meaning.
If want you can use 'I'm' instead of using 'I am'.
I am happy. = I'm happy.
I am hungry. = I'm hungry.
I am excited. = I'm excited.
I am from Sri Lanka = I'm from Sri Lanka
If want you can add some words for describing the situation.
I'm very happy.
I'm terribly hungry.
I'm very excited.
'I'm' -Adding prepositions
I'm in a car.
I'm in a hall.
I'm at the airport.
I'm at the hospital
I'm on a bus.

'I'm' - Adding verb.
I'm writing a letter.
I'm reading a book.
I'm drinking my glass of milk.
B) is - Usually, this verb having a relationship only with he, she and it.
He, She and It come under Third Person. Why? Those will help to talk about the 'others'.
He is - He is my brother.
She is my aunt.
It is on the table. (It = book, pen, cup etc.)
It is barking loudly.) (It= an animal/ an insect etc.)
C) are - This is a ' plural'(more than one) form.
Usually having a relationship with the First Person(plural) Second Person and Third Person as well.
